Extensive working experience in JDK 1.4 and 1.6.
Very strong programming skills in Java & J2EE: OOPS, Threads, Jdbc, collections, JMX, WS, SOAP, Hibernate, EJB, JMS, JSP/Servlets, Design Patterns
Extensive experience with multiple software applications design tools and languages.
Strong working experience on 32 bit as well as 64 bit Linux Platform. (RedHat 3.x and 5.x)
Strong understanding of Kickstart methodology. (Anaconda, PXE Boot and TFTP).
Strong knowledge of DB2, MySQL (3.x, 5.x) and Postgres databases.
Strong understanding of NAT (Linux Virtual Server), network switches and cards.
Good Knowledge of JBoss (4.x and 6.x)
Strong analytical skills and effective problem solving ability
Strong debugging / troubleshooting skills
Comfortable with Multi-threading and concurrency and scalability issues
Experience with Linux as a development and runtime platform
Experience with development of unit tests (JUnit)
Knowledge of support processes, policies, systems and services
Fluency in English language; strong written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Minimum 0-2 years experience
