Age Limit:  18 years to 38 years as on 01-01-2013.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-II Passed.

For English Teacher: Candidates should possess the qualification of graduation with English as an elective subject during the three year of graduation. B.Ed with teaching of English are compulsory.

For Hindi Teacher: Candidates should possess the qualification of graduation with Hindi as a subject during the three year of graduation. Candidates also should with teaching of Hindi.

For Punjabi Teacher: Candidate must possess graduation from a recognized university with Punjabi as a subject during the three year of graduation. B.Ed with teaching of Punjabi are compulsory.

For Math: Candidates should possess B.Sc with B.T. or B.Ed Senior Basic Trained with any two of the four subjects in B.Sc namely, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

For Science: Candidates should possess B.A. with subject combination as approved by Government from time to time with B.T. or B.Ed. Punjab State Teacher Eligibilty Test Paper-II Passed, Candidates must have studied any two of the following subjects during three years of the Graduation History, Political Science, Public Administation, Psychology, Sociology, Economices, Geography, Elective English.

For Social Study: Candidates should possess B.A with subject combination as approved by Government from time to time with B.T. or B.Ed. Punjab State Teacher Eligibilty Test Paper-II Passed, Candidates must have studied any two of the following subjects during three years of the Graduation History, Political Science, Public Administation, Psychology, Sociology, Economices, Geography, Elective English.

Application Fee: General and unreserved category candidates need to pay Rs. 500/-, SC/ST/PH category candidates will have to pay Rs. 250/- while Ex service man.

Fee should be paid in the form of bank challan.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected based on their performance in written examination and their marks in Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test Paper-II.
