Job responsibilities include:

•  Locating, collecting, and synthesizing trade information from governments, international trade organizations and other trade sources
•  Writing of comprehensive summaries of the various countries
•  Client support, for example Classification determination
•  Responsible for updating duty rates, other import taxes (i.e., sales tax, VAT, excise, consumption, environmental, incidental import fees, etc.), and maintenance of classification trees in accordance with update schedule.
• Mapping of the compliance information to the relevant HS codes
• Testing of fees loaded into database and compatibility with system requirements.
• Monitor trade organizations and governmental websites for updates.

Selection Process:

·         1st   Round – Online Aptitude and Personality Assessment (45 minutes)

·         2nd   Round:- FTF interviews(technical) /Managerial /HR
With regard to the online assessment, please find some general information/instructions:

·         The assessment has two parts: an untimed Personality Profile and a timed (22 minute) Aptitude section.

·         It should take you about 45 minutes to complete both portions of the assessment.

·         Aptitude test consists of 50 questions and you would be required to answer in 22 minutes(timer limit)

·         The areas covered included:
– Alphabetical series
– Graphical Series
– General English
– Basic Arithmetic

·         Do not spend too much time on any one question(As you would be needed to complete all 50 questions to clear the aptitude test).

·         There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

·         You must answer each question before moving forward(You cannot toggle between questions).

·         It is recommended that you move through the assessment at a steady to swift pace. Once you begin the assessment, it cannot be restarted or stopped.
