Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post(s) in the DRL project entitled “Molecular Surveillance of Vibrio cholerae in Flood Affected Areas of Sonitpur and Nearby Districts: A Measure of Cholera Epidemic Threat in Assam“

Salary : Rs…@12000/-

Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in Biological Sciences

Desirable Qualifications: Prior experience in handling microbial cultures, targeted PCR/genomics/proteomics .

Job Requirements: Collection and characterization of environmental and clinical samples from Flood Affected Areas and testing and typing for Vibrio cholerae

The project is valid for a period of one year. The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis initially for a period of one year or till his service are required by the Project Director or till the validity of the project, whichever is earliest.
