Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Recruitment 2013 for the post of Research Associate

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)  Applications are invited for the below-mentioned position in a DBT sponsored network project entitled “Functional genomics approaches in understanding the regulation of synthesis and accumulation of apocarotenoids in saffron crocus (Crocus sativus L.)“. The duration of the project is for 3 (three) years. Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable by another successive year depending on the progress of the candidate.

Essential Qualifications: PhD in Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Biotechnology

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in handling analytical techniques viz. GCMS, UPLC or analysis of metabolite profiles, etc.

Emoluments: Rs. 22,000/- + 30% HRA for 1st and 2nd year; Rs. 24,000/- + 30% HRA for 3rd year
