Position Summary:
Develop and support the state-of-the-art, high performance and high capacity RTL and Gate level power analysis solutions for PowerArtist as part of highly energetic R&D team.
Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:
• Develop and support power analysis solutions with initial focus on cell selection in power analysis engine and its impact on power calculation
• Implement innovative algorithms and data-structures in C/C++ for accurate cell selection that takes into account the changes that a design goes through due to synthesis/optimization
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of commercial C/C++ software development experience in Unix/Linux
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to quickly ramp-up in diverse code base
• B.Tech. M Tech. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other related area
Other Information:
• Good knowledge of RTL (Verilog and/or VHDL) is a strong plus
• Working experience in synthesis/optimization techniques is a strong plus
• Knowledge of Liberty library format is a plus
• Experience with EDA software development and file formats is preferred
• Experience with efficient implementation of large data processing is preferred
